Everyone who helps at the Devine Food Pantry Ministry is a volunteer. A volunteer coordinator meets with each person who desires to join us a volunteer to determine their best fit based on our needs and the person’s personal schedule.

Volunteers are needed to help put away deliveries on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week beginning about 11:00am. It is good if the volunteer can be there 1/2 hour early. Depending on when the delivery truck arrives, this activity is complete by 1:00pm. There is standing and lifting necessary.

Volunteers are also needed on Food Distribution days: Tuesdays, Thursdays 9:00am-1:00pm. This includes working to assist clients with their shopping, re-stocking shelves, breaking down boxes and other work that is necessary before, during and after the session.

Volunteers are also needed for occasional fund raising events such as parking lot sales, etc.
